The International Mission Board, or IMB, is the world’s largest sending organization of Christian missionaries. Rivertree partners with the IMB in support of missionaries in unreached areas; areas where less than 2% of the population are followers of Christ.
While there are many areas, both foreign and domestic, where Christ is unknown, the defining characteristic of these places is the lack of access to the gospel. There are not Bibles in the local language or enough Christians to organically spread the good news.
These areas are often difficult to get to or hostile to the gospel, but partnering with the IMB allows us to care for some of these missionaries well without jeopardizing their safety or mission.
