Missioteca

Missioteca

Missioteca is a collection of missional initiatives dedicated to eradicating theological famine in the Global South and ending the water crisis in Guatemala.

Many of the world’s pastors have very little or no theological training. In Guatemala, this has led to a prevalence of false gospels including superstitious, works-based salvation as well as the prosperity gospel.

Missioteca strives to create healthy churches by providing theological training and mentorship to local pastors and elders.

Rivertree partners with Missioteca by coming alongside a church whose leaders have completed Missioteca’s theological training and have a desire to maintain a long-term partnership with a 5-year plan toward overall church health.

Rivertree takes short-term trips to Guatemala in partnership with Missioteca twice a year. If you are interested in joining a trip, please email Shae Walton at shae@myrivetree.org
