Bringing hope and restoration to the imprisoned children of Africa in Jesus’s Name
Ava Weeks serves with Sixty Feet to share the love of Christ in word and deed. Their mission is to bring hope and restoration to the imprisoned children of Uganda.
Christ said “Let the little children come to me” and SixtyFeet’s desire is to lead His precious children into His loving arms.
The majority of the children they serve come from critically vulnerable environments where they have experienced trauma, death of parents, or lack of resources to meet their daily needs. Therefore, they believe in a holistic approach that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the imprisoned children of Uganda.
Through the work of their dedicated team in Uganda, they provide daily medical care, Bible study, praise and worship, gospel-centered counseling, educational sponsorship, legal aid (with the help of local Ugandan attorneys and partnerships with global justice initiatives), resettlement (a process of reuniting children to their families), material resources such as clothing, food, and water, and spiritual discipleship.
By meeting the varied needs of each individual child, they pray that each of them will come to know and love Jesus as their personal Savior.
